Biotope at the Mulsumer Moorschutzhütte, very nicely laid out biotope accessible to everyone. With a rest area, pub, etc. Very nice.

From about 1830 the systematic drainage of the Hoher Moor began, accompanied by the peasant hand engraving. Mining lasted until around the 1970s, with around two-thirds of the peat being removed.
