There are lots of small slate stones on the ground here. With children it's fun to try to hit the trees on the slope or the stream. A great area. The slope is steep and caution is advised, especially with children.

The Laubach descent starts at the Elisabethöhe and ends at Laubachsmühle. It's a well-groomed path. After half of the route you come to the Laubach waterfall. The stream then runs parallel to the path.

Laubachsmühle is a great place to take a break. From there you can continue along the Wied or start the ascent to Melsbach.
