From 1947 to 1950 it was made usable again by SAG Wismut and again discharged pit water from the western part of the Himmelsfürst pit and from the Glück auf shaft emergency drainage system. As an important water release tunnel for the pits in Linda and Himmelsfürst, the Neuer Segen Gottes tunnel is of local and, above all, mining-historical significance.
