The Wetterhöhe station is part of the Royal Saxon Triangulation of 1869 and was built north of the Wettersdorfer windmill. The windmill no longer exists.

With the summit cross on the Wetterhöhe, the vantage point invites you to linger. The cross with summit book was built from two old railway sleepers from the disused Roßwein-Hainichen line and became the "highlight" of the Roßweiner summit tour.

The Lutherhöhe is 264 meters above sea level and offers you a wonderful view of Waldheim. Don't forget to enter yourself in the summit book - as it should be for a hike on a real high-altitude trail. ;)
