With the summit cross on the Wetterhöhe, the vantage point invites you to linger.
The cross with summit book was built from two old railway sleepers from the disused Roßwein-Hainichen line and became the "highlight" of the Roßweiner summit tour.
The Royal Saxon Triangulation is a state survey carried out on the territory of the Kingdom of Saxony between 1862 and 1890 with the simultaneous creation of a trigonometric network.
Also Mittweida has a Via Mala, from the Schmatzhöhe you can throw a beautiful view of the Zschopautal and a bank invites you to rest. A beautiful place for young and old lovers and for mountain bikers.
The Lutherhöhe is 264 meters above sea level and offers you a wonderful view of Waldheim. Don't forget to enter yourself in the summit book - as it should be for a hike on a real high-altitude trail. ;)
In addition to the summit cross and the triangulation column on the Wetterhöhe, there is also a large amateur radio station. Talking to one of the radio operators was interesting and exciting.
