The refuge is located directly on the “From Bach to Goethe” hiking trail, with wonderful panoramic views of the valley.

There is now a new refuge called Hopfs Hütt

At the same location, the completely new refuge "Hopfis Hütt" can no longer be overlooked. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the pulpit, directly on the Reinsberge panorama trail. The view ahead towards the Geratal, Thuringian Forest and Drei Gleichen is kept open. Really well done and perfect for taking a break 🍻 🥪 and as weather protection 👍🏻

The wooden Bach monument on Espenfelder Strasse near Arnstadt is very badly worn by the weather. On the back of the column there are sound plates with mallets. Here you can get down to work and listen to Bach's masterpiece "The Art of Fugue".
