This fortified tower, situated on an artificial hill with a fieldstone base and brick superstructure, served to secure a ford across the Trebel River and later as a residential and prison tower. It is the oldest surviving structure in Nehringen and a remnant of a former castle complex.

The Samow manor house dates back to 1658 and received its current purely classicist form around 1810.

The Pomeranian castle was built in 1330 on the border with Mecklenburg. Built on an artificial hill with an imposing fieldstone base measuring 11.6 x 9.8 m, the Fangelturm was surrounded by moats. Over the centuries, the Fangelturm was a defensive, residential and prison tower. Near a ford through the border river Trebel, the Fangelturm served to secure and defend the border with Mecklenburg. Today the Fangelturm is located in the publicly accessible park of the estate in Nehringen.

Early German tower hill, built around 1310. The building cannot be entered as it is in danger of collapsing. You can look inside through the old gate openings.

Beautiful mansion with a small park, which is currently being renovated by the owners with great attention to detail. Definitely worth a stop. If you are lucky, you can also visit the great rooms. And if you are still looking for an overnight stay, this is the right place. :)

The water castle Turow arises from a building from the 12th century. Today 2/3 of the moated castle is still surrounded by a moat, the old eastern bridge of which is no longer passable.
