The hamlet – the so-called Traumsee (it really is called that) – is fed by the Farrnbach stream. An unnamed stream feeds several ponds south of the village and flows into the Farrnbach within the village itself as a right tributary.

The Sonnensee is located in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park and to the east of Flachslanden and Kettenhöfstetten. The natural bathing lake is the perfect destination for a day of swimming or camping. At the Sonnesee you are in a natural environment. Anyone looking for peace and nature is in the right place here. The campsite and the guesthouse at the Sonnensee are also located here.
