Perfect for a little cooling off

The district boundaries of Schönborn and Hahnstätten meet on the Ergenstein. There used to be a lookout point here, but it is now overgrown. The Hahnstätter Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein has erected a shelter at this spot. Immediately next to the hut, a path leads to the boundary stone, which is about 150 meters away. There are also other paths that lead to the boundary stone. It is best to look out for the small wooden arrows that are on the trees. http://www.jakupka.de/erg-hahn.htm

The “Eichbornsbach” water treading facility was extensively renovated in 2019. A treading pool and an arm bath now provide healthy cooling.

A beautiful and exposed spot high above the Lahn with a fantastic view! Unfortunately, vandals and graffiti artists have obviously already caused trouble here. The temple is currently in a pretty run-down state.

Covered rest area with cooling water in the middle of the forest. Two paths cross here. The asphalt road up to the right leads directly to the "Kreuzkapelle" avenue, which, as its name suggests, leads to the Kreuzkapelle. The forest path up to the left leads directly to the car park for the Waldschlösschen and the Waldwipfel hiking trail.

Recommended for a rest, a nice foot bath and arm bath. It's an idyllic place. There is also a hut with a roof.🙃🥾🔝
