Nestled in the idyllic setting of the Tannenberg hill, Hüttenheim wines are cultivated on approximately 75 hectares of vineyards. The unique microclimate and the characteristic gypsum marl soil guarantee expressive and rich wines. The winegrowing tradition here dates back to 1199. Wine was once stored in the cellars of the imposing fortified church complex in Hüttenheim.

In 1950, two women founded the Casteller Ring community, which settled here and built a spiritual center that runs guest and conference houses here.

On the Schwanberg you can walk very well through the Friedwald or to the Birkensee where you can relax on the bench, see many sights and enjoy an excellent view in some places. A visit to the ⛪ and the café complete the tour. The golden deer and the Neptune fountain are also well worth seeing.
