One of the few real hiking trails near Ilmenau. Beautiful and idyllic. We can only hope that it doesn't disappear like other trails around Ilmenau. The waterfall can be very impressive after many days of rain and melting snow. In summer it's more like a trickle.

deep down in the dark forest there is a small bridge on which the stamp box hangs. Don't forget the ladder! :-) and watch out for the trolls, which you might see if you look up

Here water flows from a tunnel at a certain height over rock steps into a pool, which results in a very nice waterfall.
