Cycling in the Gauchsdorf nature reserve has always been prohibited under the Nature Conservation Act, and the trail routes specified here in the private forest are also not desired. Forest owners are not liable for falls and damage caused by undesired trail riding. Biking off the beaten path is not covered by the right to enter all parts of the great outdoors according to Art. 22 Para. 1 and Art. 24 BayNatSchG, because from a legal point of view cycling is a different form of use than entering. Only on suitable paths (width 2 m) does the Bavarian Nature Conservation Act equate entering with driving. Unauthorized driving on unsuitable paths and unauthorized cross-country driving is therefore prohibited and can be fined and reported under Art. 52 Para. 4 No. 2 and 3 BayNatSchG. If cycling on suitable paths in the open air in an area is incompatible with the interests of other recreational traffic or if it leads to impairment of the natural balance, the nature conservation authorities can limit or prohibit it in accordance with Article 26 BayNatSchG. We have eaten good to very good in the Greek restaurant Seerose. The holiday mood arises on the wonderfully situated terrace directly by the pond

Very nicely located restaurant with a lake terrace. Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the quality of the frequently changing operator, as we haven't eaten there for a long time.
