A former waste dump near Schmie, through which a beautiful path leads, as well as another path above with views of the rocks. Especially on foggy days or in autumn, the area has a very special flair.

It's fascinating what can be seen here, hidden and inconspicuous. It's worth a visit. Maybe just go for a nice hike or bike ride and enjoy a picnic. A very beautiful place.

A wonderfully quiet valley with a long stretch of meadow and a little stream. However, I could not find the path on the meadow in April 2023.

In Schmie, 125 people were once busy hewing stones. The stones had to come from somewhere. Here you can find part of the answer. Today one no longer necessarily builds with natural stone. So the hiker will only find a beautiful "gorge" on the outskirts of Schmie.

The "suddenly" appearing rock walls create a very special atmosphere. I was there on a cloudy day and it was really nice. The detour is definitely worth it.

You used to be able to walk all the way down
