Good place for a break!

Coming from Haunsberg toward Tüsberg, this small shelter is located west of Hüingsen. Here you can enjoy the afternoon sun.

Located in the heart of the Sauerland region, not far from the Sorpe and Möhne lakes, lies the Dreihausen "Almhütte" (Alm Hut) with a wonderful beer garden for visitors. This is the perfect place to escape the stresses of everyday life in a friendly atmosphere. The animal-loving couple Klaus and Gabi Alteköster have been providing friendly hospitality since 2000. Bikers are also welcome. The restaurant was expanded again in 2005. The "Alm Hut" was originally opened in November 1969 by his mother, Anni Alteköster. The "Alm Hut" is open Tuesday to Saturday from 3 p.m., and Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. The end of the day is open. It is closed on Mondays.

The small shelter is located at a crossroads and offers seating for 2-3 people, protected from the wind.

The perfect place to dine or rest

Nice location, protection from the rain.....but what really bothered me was that there was no trash can and there were tons of bottle caps lying around including polystyrene packaging from the chip shop. You can't understand it.🤔🤨

Very beautiful place. Invites you to linger. If you are alone, there is a peace and quiet there to enjoy (if you like). Natural sounds included. But also invites you to have a barbecue (according to the signs in consultation with the forester?).
