During the GDR era, this spot housed a ski and sled rental shop. It was a small house crammed full of winter sports equipment. From around 1912 to around 1954, the Waldschänke restaurant stood here, about which, unfortunately, there is little information. That's why there are these stairs here.

With a view of the Dahme you can enjoy a quiet, relaxed break here. The rustic wooden shelter has certainly seen better days - but if a rainstorm does pass by, you'll find a little protection here.
