Very nice view of Klam Castle

The gentle hill lies northeast of St. Peter in der Au and is easily accessible via marked hiking trail no. 357. The trail leads through meadows and forest edges – ideal for a relaxing stroll. At the top, there's no summit in the traditional sense, but a lovingly erected summit cross (since 2016) and a surprisingly beautiful panoramic view of the Mostviertel region. Especially on clear days, it's worth taking a short break to take a breather and gaze into the distance.

The summit is accessible via faint trails. Shortly before, you have a fantastic view of Klam Castle.

This summit is usually only visited by MBers, but in combination with a hike from the Windegg ruins it is a worthwhile destination.

After completion of the tunnel construction for the new western railway line, the Siberg Cross was inaugurated in 2001 by Dean Johann Zarl (St.Valentin) in the presence of Rev. Karl Schlögelhofer (Haag) and a large number of construction workers and residents. This cross is a construction made of iron rods, which was also used in the tunnel construction.

Anyone expecting an impressive summit experience here will probably be disappointed. Still, this is a nice place. You can also decide here whether you want to continue to follow hiking trail 493 in its entire length (approx. 18 km) or take the shorter variant 493a (approx. 14 km).
