You can book an exclusive reservoir tour on the MS Ottenstein here, which will take you to the most beautiful corners of the lake. Afterwards you can treat yourself to a delicious buffet in the lakeside restaurant. * The Ottenstein beach restaurant is open daily from May to September from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. You can arrive here by car, bike or on foot. There is also a bus stop nearby.

Ottenstein Reservoir is a popular recreational area in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria. It is the uppermost of the three Kamp Reservoirs in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria and was created in the 1950s. The lake has a surface area of 4.3 square meters. The lake is known for its fjord-like, branching arms, reminiscent of Scandinavian landscapes. It is surrounded by wooded shores, ideal for hiking and walking.

Nice route, easy to do! Unfortunately, I have to take a few weeks off due to a bicycle accident on the descent from the Rohrauer Haus in Spital am Phyrn.

Pretty pond, a very nice photo motif. There was nothing here about a bathing ban. But it may only be banned in the summer when the temperatures are right. But fishing is definitely possible.

You can rent oars, pedals and electric boats. The ship sails out for groups of 15 or more people. Your physical well-being is also taken care of in the See Restaurant.
