The Würnitz Forest Pond has been known as a “summer retreat” for city dwellers for centuries. In recent years, the forest pond and the surrounding forest area were acquired by the Hardegg estate administration and are still very popular as an excursion destination.

Komoot suggested a path to the fish pond and then further to the asphalt path behind it. But in between there is a small dirty stream over which there is no bridge. The way to the fish pond is therefore at least currently a dead end.
