When you see the destruction caused by the recent brutal clear-cutting, compared to the photos from the tourism association, the leaseholder simply belongs in jail. Here, everything was just sawed down without any sense and pushed together with bulldozers. Sadly, this is further proof of environmental destruction.

Nice piece of hiking with quite a few height differences along the river. Here and there a staircase, but otherwise mainly natural materials are used.

The way up is short but certainly a bit more demanding. But it should be doable for almost everyone. Benches along the route also invite you to take a breather.

A very nice destination. Unfortunately a bit difficult to find a parking space for the car. Some demanding climbs to the waterfalls.

Beautiful hike to and around the Forstsee Römerschlucht is so nice to walk, but unfortunately due to the long-lasting hot heat wave, there is no splashing in the gorge

With children it is advisable to go in the opposite direction because the 1st waterfall (in our case the 3rd) is great for rocking, throwing stones, cooling your feet... suitable.
