I went up the Gjeravica Peak on August the 7th 2025 it was cloudy but not cold. The lake water was crystal clear and very cold (freezing), took a dip and enjoyed it very much., a great feeling!

A small mountain lake, currently (07/25) unfortunately not clear, but green, set against a beautiful rocky backdrop. Formed as a glacial lake.

The journey to the destination is sometimes strenuous, as the route is very steep in places. You shouldn't take unnecessary things with you. A litre of water and a small snack for the journey are perfectly sufficient.

Coming from the Jelenka Pass, you can take a break here at the lake with a fantastic view

If you follow this route, you can't miss the lake. Part of the path goes through the lake because there are stones placed there and you walk on them. It is very beautiful and quiet there. It is a good place for a break.
