The hiking trail from Brienz to Mühlebach is closed due to the 2024 storm. It is also no longer accessible from Gäldried. The trail has completely collapsed, and all bridges are destroyed.

Pretty little meadow path with a unique view of the Eiger north face and Männlichen. You can even see Kleine Scheidegg from here. If you pay attention to the vertical rock face (on the left when you come from the upper glacier) you will see a large white spot in the otherwise gray rock face. The “Breitlouwina Tunnel” is hidden under this white patch of rock. It enables an underground crossing of the steep rock face that lies between Pfingstegg and the former mountain restaurant "Chalet Milchbach".
