The Ranggbach was previously erroneously called Krienbach by the locals. This has its sources in the Mühle-mäss and Bonern area. The Krienbach flows into the little Emme at the Rängglochschlucht.

The terrain is rugged and steep, but with the exception of two short sections, the trail is in good shape and surprisingly pleasant. The two sections are located in the upper part of the rock face and are somewhat challenging (direction T3).

The path from the Musenalp over the tunnel leads down a narrow path at first quite steeply (and requires some surefootedness in the downward direction, but no fear of heights), with a fantastic view. If you have lost the altitude you pass a lovely waterfall and the path leads through this almost fairytale-like forest with rocky parts ... simply beautiful to dream!
