The Königsbachtal, along the stream of the same name, is only 2.4 kilometers long, but even experienced hikers are required to complete it. In the valley, right at the entrance to the hiking trail, there is a lovingly designed water wheel in the Königsbach, surrounded by some seating.

Opposite the Strobel promenade on the left-hand side of Zschopau is a magnificent waterfall, which is the outflow of an artificial ditch. This 1500m long ditch was built to operate the Max Strobel mill between Wiesa and Wiesenbad. In the immediate vicinity is also the railway viaduct on the Erzgebirge railway line: Chemnitz - Cranzahl (via Annaberg-Buchholz / https://www.komoot.de/highlight/2849623), as well as a wonderful seating area with a table that invites you to linger and rest.

Water treading pool in a romantic setting right by the waterfall. With the surrounding benches, it offers an ideal resting place for hikes in the Geyer Forest. In the middle of the Geyer Forest after a refreshing Kneipp cure you will find rest and relaxation. The rustic Kneipp pool is located in the immediate vicinity of a waterfall, a relic of the old construction times. The treading pool also borders on the popular song hiking trail and the Geyer history trail. The numerous benches are suitable for a short rest.

Nice place to take a break at the old mine tunnel. There's a spring here with (presumably) drinking water. To be reached via the alpine hiking trail.
