Beautiful little pond, just the right place to unwind 😍

By far one of the most beautiful places to unwind. Enjoy nature, listen to and see the forest. Squirrels can be seen on almost every tree, ducks, birds, mushrooms, etc.

Totally idyllic, very nice place

Beautifully situated lake. At the front of the lake you can drive through a narrow gap directly to the lake (past the barrier and the large stone). Then park your bike at the bench and continue walking along the lake. The ambient noise from the nearby main road must be blocked out.

If you follow the Mühlenweg you come to the petting zoo, parking is available and there are various animals to see.

Mountain lake is something different for me😉. Rather sad and desolate place.

The mountain lake near Triberg in the Black Forest dates back to the Ice Ages. It is one of the few natural lakes in the Middle Black Forest. According to an information board on the lakeshore, the Triberg mountain lake is considered a glacial niche from the Riss Ice Age because of its circular shape, the steep circus-like slopes and its opening to the northeast. The heights around Triberg had their own glaciation during the Riss Ice Age. The snow line was 700 m above sea level. A perfect place for a rest with two "unfortunately": unfortunately the idyll in this nature reserve is spoiled by the noise of cars speeding by and unfortunately not everyone takes their garbage with them. A danger especially for the local geese families.
