Here you'll find the "Am Windmühlenberg" barbecue area, a great place to rest and with play facilities for children. There are also several benches around the edge of the area with views of the surrounding countryside.

The name is the real highlight. In the early Middle Ages, a beer castle is said to have stood here (see Wikipedia), however, there is no documentary evidence for this. You don't have a view from the summit itself, but a few meters down the western path you can look towards Eboldshausen.

Not far from the 411 m high Sackberg is one of the great views from the ridge path on the Ahlsburg.
