It has stood in its current form on the Ebersnacken (460 m above sea level), the highest mountain in the Vogler Mountains, since 1990. The Ebersnacken Tower was built in two sections, with the heavy upper section being placed in place by the British Army of the Rhine with the help of a cargo helicopter.

It's nice that the tower has been renovated and can now be used as an observation tower.

The clearing currently provides a beautiful view to the southeast over the Rühler Schweiz to Holzminden and the Solling. The Köterberg can also be seen through the clearing on the far right.
