노이엔뷔르그‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪5‬개의 폭포

Down below/here on the Schliessklammweg trail, there's a former quarry. Right by the Michelbach stream, next to the path, you can see one of the old quarry faces. Further along the trail, climbing the slope, the path narrows as it runs alongside the stream until it reaches the spring, the Karl-Schwarz-Brunnen, via a steep path. This is a truly wonderful section.

A small waterfall lies at the edge of the riverside path near the stone bridge. The water cascading over moss-covered stones is a popular subject for photographs.

The waterfall has seen better days. Currently, it's just trickling.

A look up to the place where the small stream comes from proves that it is the overflow of a well, the Lickbrunnen. It is fed by a spring that rises further up. The nuns of the monastery used the water to irrigate their gardens, later the inn (now the "King of Prussia") and from 1925 the Frauenalb water cooperative used it as drinking water.
