The district boundaries of Schönborn and Hahnstätten meet on the Ergenstein. There used to be a lookout point here, but it is now overgrown. The Hahnstätter Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein has erected a shelter at this spot. Immediately next to the hut, a path leads to the boundary stone, which is about 150 meters away. A beautiful and exposed spot high above the Lahn with a fantastic view! Unfortunately, vandals and graffiti artists have obviously already caused trouble here. The temple is currently in a pretty run-down state.

The fauna-flora-habitat Wehrley stretches along a slope along the Lahn from Runkel to the tip of the Lahn loop.

Great place for a rest

The hut offers space for many people in search of protection, not least because of the roof that protrudes far.

Worthwhile even without a bike, because the view is huge. A nice destination to have fun with the little ones up here.
