City and bathing pond In the middle of the town of Baumholder is the town pond of about 3 hectares. Part of the natural water is open for swimming. A municipal bathing supervision and the local DLRG ensure safety. The use of the town pond for bathing is free of charge. Sunbathing lawns, a kiosk, sanitary facilities and sufficient parking spaces are available to bathers. The artificial sandy beach is ideal for children. The multi-generational playground, newly opened in 2020, is located on the forecourt of the pond. A giant trampoline with catapult and slide is anchored in the middle of the pond, which is particularly popular with young bathers. In summer, various activities and festivals are organized around the town pond by the DLRG local association and the Angelsportverein e.V. Great campsite in nature with a swimming pond

Went here for coffee today. The seating area is ideal for this.

Today again, stopped at the Allenbacher Weiher in bright sunshine. Enjoyed the sun, the water and the peace.

A very nice local recreation area! Highly Recommended. The nearby "Hotel / Restaurant / Cafe Steuer" is also highly recommended.

There are even crayfish in the Allenbacher Weiher.

Very nice complex with a lake, but unfortunately closed due to Corona

This biotope of approx. 1 hectare of water surface and 3 hectares of natural surface on the outskirts of Allenbach in the direction of Erbeskopf is entirely under the sign of nature conservation. Boat trips, fishing and swimming are therefore not allowed.
