Whenever it has rained heavily or the snow melts in spring, the masses of water in the Holzbach Gorge are absolutely impressive to look at and photograph. But be careful, the paths are then extremely slippery and muddy.

Depending on the season and previous rainfall, there is sometimes more, sometimes less water here, but the small waterfall is always beautiful.

I was cycling along the Weiltal cycle path and suddenly noticed a loud rushing noise. I just stopped and looked at the masses of water flowing towards the Lahn. 😃
