I would only recommend the descent to mountain bikers. The trail is completely rocky, with some fairly steep sections. You should also have some riding technique. Lowering the saddle makes the descent much easier, but be careful in wet conditions.

Below the hamlet of Thalhäusler, the Osterbach stream rushes down beautifully over a (probably artificial) step. It is possible to cross the stream on the Schützenweg above and below the waterfall, although you have better views from below.
