The Bielstein Gorge is a fantastic natural spectacle. It's definitely worth a visit!

Not recommended for MTBs at the moment. Lots of trees on the trail and also difficult to lift the bike across

Not that easy, very slippery when wet. But really beautiful and special.

short but deep ravine

"The “Große Egge” ravine is a section of old road carved in the form of a ravine into the existing Cenomanian limestone at the wooded “Große Egge” pass in the southeastern Teutoburg Forest. It is located in the municipality of Horn-Bad Meinberg (Holzhausen-Externsteine district) in North Rhine-Westphalia and is located about 1.2 km west-southwest of the Externsteine and almost 2.3 km east of the Gauseköte. The path investigation did not produce any find that could be dated with certainty. This section of the cliff path now leads through open terrain (loss of forest). The eastern incision of the old railway is now at least easier to see.

Here it used to be romantic through dense forest, today there is hardly anything left of the forest. Still, it's a nice section of the trail.
