The fishing hut on the grounds of the Bous Angling Club is an ideal starting point for the Bous Trail: Here you'll find a large overview sign showing the route (both the short and long trails), and you're immediately out in nature by the water. It's a peaceful place to arrive – and later a lovely destination when the loop ends back at the Bommersbach stream/pond. A very idyllic pond where we took a break today.

Saaraltarm

It's always great there. As well as birds, geese and ducks, with a bit of luck and at the right time you can also see deer and wild boar. Today I saw a marten there for the first time, which was being attacked by crows.

A very beautiful hike between the fields of Neuforweiler, Felsberg and Picard. There are beautiful panoramic views of the Saargau (Berus, Unterfelsberg and Oberfelsberg), the Lisdorfer Berg, the Wadgasser Wald, the Limberg and the Saar-Plygon, among others. The hiking route is asphalted or concreted (field paths) up to about 250 m and has only 3 slight inclines. It is therefore suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. In very hot weather, please note that - apart from the final circular route around the Taffingsweiher - there are hardly any shady passages. Therefore, it is better to do it in the early morning or early evening.
