I think the paths are great, the nature is amazing! But I'm more of a mountain biker and love natural routes... Probably less suitable for organic bikers with trekking bikes. But that's a matter of taste. Unfortunately, even though it's only May (2024), the Durbeke doesn't have any water.

The valley is really beautiful. However, it could be particularly beautiful in spring when the fruit blossoms, as there are many fruit trees in the meadows.

Nice trail along some cliff-like rock formations overlooking Neuenheerse.

S1 - you should be able to stay in the lane ;-)

Nice trail for all sorts. Hiking, cross-country skiing & running. But you should know exactly what you are doing. Because carelessness is punished by the barbed wire & the abyss.

Unfortunately, the path is no longer as wooded as it was a few months ago.
