The Auwiesenhütte is the perfect opportunity for bikers and hikers to replenish their calorie reserves. The new restaurant owner, Anto, offers Baden and Croatian specialties. Excellent prices and excellent taste. The team is very friendly 👍 The route to the hut is well signposted. Follow the signs for the Staufenberg sports field.

Located close to hiking trails, in the middle of the forest, and beautifully situated with a large terrace and beer garden, the Auwiesenhütte is a most welcome rest stop with a down-to-earth menu that offers something for everyone at very reasonable prices. If you don't get your fill here, it's your own fault. The hut's atmosphere and hosts are surprisingly friendly. The whole experience is a pleasant contrast to the tourist-filled restaurants on the Merkur mountain with their stressed-out staff.

From Bermersbach, a steep climb leads to the hut. From up here, you have a wonderful view down to Bermersbach and the Murg Valley

The Jägerlochhütte is for private rental, which means that potential holidaymakers have the right to their privacy! But if you ask nicely and don't force yourself on them during lunch, then most people should still be able to take a picture. But if they say no, then unfortunately that means no, after all, you're not the only hiker who comes by that day, you should keep that in mind. 😊🙏

Nature friends house with playground, but only open on Wednesdays from 2 - 5 pm and Sundays from 10 - 12 pm...
