First a church, then a hospital, and now a very impressive memorial against war. The church was deliberately not fully rebuilt after its destruction in World War II. The Hospitalhof, a Protestant conference and education center, is located immediately adjacent.

The Bärenschlössle (Little Bear Castle) and the three park lakes – Bärensee, Neue See, and Pfaffensee – are a popular destination for day trips. The charming landscape invites visitors to hike, jog, and cycle. Numerous paths wind around the three park lakes, which were originally created as reservoirs to supply Stuttgart with water.

The Egelsee Fountain is part of an artistic waterscape featuring stainless steel fountains and reflecting pools. Created for the IGA 1993, it offers a striking interplay of water, sound, and art.

From here you can enjoy a wide view over the city to the Swabian Alb – a quiet location and ideal for a break in the countryside.

Rosenstein Palace in Stuttgart is a neoclassical palace located in the Rosenstein Park. Today, it houses the Natural History Museum with fascinating exhibitions on wildlife and ecology.
