9월 8, 2025, Waterloo Lake
Some parts can get muddy if there’s been a lot of rain, one section by the cafe is very uneven. Mostly flat, beautiful views of the lake. Very popular with dog walkers and runners.

Waterloo Lake covers 33 acres (13.3 hectres) and is a popular place for rowers, with a relative new rowing club that was first started in 2006. There is a walking trail that takes in a delightfully scenic 5 kilometre (approximately 3.1 miles) loop of the park and both Waterloo Lake and Upper Lake.

11월 10, 2020, Paul's Pond, Breary Marsh Nature Reserve
Breary Marsh Nature Reserve is the finest example of a wet valley alder wood in West Yorkshire. Just walking distance from Golden Acre Park off the Otley Road, it represents a splendid escape into nature that's not too far from the centre of Leeds. Paul's Pond is a good place to spot waterfowl and the fortunate may even catch sight of a kingfisher.

11월 7, 2020, Golden Acre Park
A splendid spot for some quiet reflection by the cultivated flower beds and the lovely lake. Spring is a riot of colour, whilst the many heathers on display are delightful from late summer into autumn. The car park off the Otley Road is the traditional start point for the Leeds Country Way, a 62-mile (100km) circuit of the city's rural outskirts.

5월 6, 2020, Eccup Reservoir
Great little access road that skirts the edge of Eccup Reservoir and is part of the West Yorkshire Cycle Route It's virtually traffic-free and joins up with other tracks and bridleways to form a loop around the reservoir. While you're there remember to look up and keep your eyes open for Red Kites. These raptors were saved from the brink of extinction when a release site was established at nearby Harewood House in a joint partnership between RSPB, English Nature, & Yorkshire Water.
