The Protestant St. John's Church was built in 1955 by the Stuttgart architect Prof. H. Seytter. With 900 seats, it is the largest church building erected in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Württemberg after World War II. Nike Fiedler won first prize with a "house-within-a-house" concept that incorporated the community center into the rear of the church, while preserving the sanctuary at the chancel. Following the demolition of the community center attached to the church between 2017 and 2020, the church interior was gutted, and the new community center was installed within the nave.
