The path goes uphill towards Ungeheuer See and downhill through the vineyards towards Weisenheim am Berg or Leistadt. The sandy path is very beautiful in summer. Watch out for wild boars crossing the path from time to time.

Beautiful, quiet route along the Höninger valley.......starting at the Höninger forest car park, from where there are many hiking/biking opportunities (Lindemannsruhe, Ungeheuersee and much more).
