This mountain lies between La Pedriza and the Barranca valley, offering spectacular views and challenging hiking routes. One of the most popular routes to ascend La Maliciosa begins in the Barranca valley. This circular route passes through the Piornal pass and offers a combination of wooded and rugged landscapes, with a significant cumulative gradient. The climb can be demanding, especially in winter, when snow and ice add difficulty to the route.

The Collado de los Pastores is a beautiful landmark in the Sierra de Guadarrama, located in the area of La Pedriza, near Manzanares el Real, in the Community of Madrid. This hill offers stunning panoramic views of the region, including the Bola del Mundo, the Cuerda Larga and the granite Pedriza. One of the popular routes to reach the Collado de los Pastores begins at the Canto Cochino car park. From there, you ascend the Cuerda de los Porrones, passing by the Mirador de la Pedriza, until you reach the hill.

This peak is famous for the television and radio repeater antennas installed on its summit in 1959. It is a popular destination for hiking, with routes starting from Puerto de Navacerrada and Puerto de Cotos. The climb offers spectacular views and is especially beautiful in winter, although it can be challenging due to ice and snow.

Laguna de los Pájaros is a beautiful glacial lagoon located on the northeast slope of Peñalara Peak, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, within the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park. It is located at an altitude of 2,170 meters above sea level, making it the highest lagoon in the park. During the winter, the lagoon remains frozen, and in summer, although its level fluctuates, it does not disappear completely. It is a popular place for hiking, with routes that offer spectacular views of the surrounding alpine landscape.
