Beautiful outdoor pool with a swimmers' pool, a non-swimmers' pool, a small diving tower, a children's pool, and a kiosk with a terrace. The Berggasthof Kreuzhaus is located in the middle of the Bavarian Forest and is therefore a great place to stop for a hike. You can stop here all year round. If you want, you can even stay overnight in the Kreuzhaus. There is a holiday apartment and four double rooms available. You can find more information at https://kreuzhaus-haibach.de/.

Unfortunately, we didn't find a beer garden that was open on our tour. We were very lucky at the outdoor pool. It was really cozy at Steffi's and we received a very warm welcome. Great food and drinks. Everything lovingly prepared. A perfect stopover where you immediately feel at home.

Nice service and, for a swimming pool kiosk, an unusually good selection of food and drinks. Next to the terrace, there is a small "mini beer garden" where we could eat and relax under a tree. It was definitely worth the detour!

Parts of the wall of the nave have been preserved from the Catholic parish church of St. Martin, as can be seen from the sloping base that occurs in places, as well as the baptismal font from the 13th century. In 1740 the church was largely rebuilt. 1973 to 1977 church renovation. The high altar is an attractive small rococo creation from the middle of the 18th century. In the central niche there is a wooden figure of St. Mary with child. The church is open during the day.

Overall, everything on the Bavarian cycle paths is very well marked and signposted. Just great.

Beautifully restored, former train station, privately owned by the Borgersen family and seat of the carpenter and restoration workshop of the same name. So if you have old furniture or windows to fix, get off and ring the bell. By the way, I'm not related or related by marriage ;-)

Very cordial hosts. Down-to-earth, good cuisine. Everything fresh. Excellent local beer, from the Klett brewery.
