Bodenstein Castle has been enthroned in the Ohm Mountains since 1098 and can be seen from afar. It is the best preserved medieval castle in Eichsfeld.

The view is quite nice. The castle building itself has been renovated and modernized in such a chic way that there is no flair worth mentioning. Otherwise, mainly whiskey is advertised there. Lots of hustle and bustle thanks to large parking lot. Not a hiking highlight for me.
