Indeed a very nice fjord on the way to/from the beach. Met a friendly local on the way back to the pier and we had a nice informative chat. Be prepared for a picnic if the café is closed.

This is a gorgeous little fjord on the way to Bunes beachm often cited as one of Norway's most beautiful beaches. The fjord is hemmed in by Pantaliatinden to the east and Hatinden to the west.

Lomtjønna is a nice little lake on the trail between Haukland and Uttakleiv beaches. It's a nice place to take a breather on the challenging run up Himmeltindan.

Stuvdalsvatnet is one of the lakes you'll pass on the way to the Munkebu Hut and the spectacular Munken. You can expect beautiful views along this section. On the trail, there's a rock step that is tackled via a chain – very much necessary when the rock is wet and slippery.

Great hike with a beautiful view of the Lofoten. Be careful if it has rained a few days before - the trail becomes very muddy and slippery.
