A dreamy spot: Crystal-clear water cascades from above, cascading into two small waterfalls into a natural pool. It collects there and flows out the other side. Ice-cold, but wonderful! Plus, an incredible view, either up to the mountain peaks or back to the Atlantic.

The immensely scenic fishing village of Sørvågen is ideally situated for adventures on Moskenesøya. There are great places to eat and drink, an attractive waterfall to discover and even a telecommunication museum. The hiking in the surroundings mountains is magical.

If you are not so sure-footed you can better take the Turvei. On the kjemafossen-sti you will encounter a wobbly suspension bridge and it is a bit more climbing and scrambling. It is wonderfully beautiful there!

This is beautiful cascade that makes for a super objective on a hike. There's a signposted loop from the Nordland National Park Centre in Storjord. A hike here is rich in wildlife and scenic splendour.

The small pond is filled with crystal clear water. Looking in the opposite direction, there is a fantastic panoramic view of the coast.

Just minutes from the center of the Arctic Circle, one can escape the crowds and find some solitude and tranquility. Sturdy shoes make sense, otherwise it is not a particular sporting challenge. Several small waterfalls and beautiful views reward the little effort.

The bridge is a little wobbly, but definitely stable. The feeling of walking over it is great. On the other side is a large rock where you can take a short break and admire the view.

The ascent should not be underestimated, but you will be rewarded with a great view of the valley and waterfall

Valnesfossen flows below the road and so you have to climb over the crash barrier and follow the small (not marked) trail at the left side of the waterfall down a bit for an amazing view over the valley and the waterfall. There is no sign of anything indicating this huge waterfall, so I was really lucky that I heard it and stopped by, I can recommend :)

The Laksforsen ("The Salmon Fall") falls only 17 m deep, but it is quite wide and makes a truly deafening noise. With an average water volume of around 700 m³ / s, the Laksforsen winner is in the competition for the largest waterfall in Europe in terms of water masses.

A steel bridge leads to the opposite bank. From the bridge you have the best view over the descending masses of water. The stream of water has a strong current at its highest point, then branches several times and flows more quietly into the lower lake.
