Beautifully situated with a superb view towards the Linth plain. Unfortunately, the very sluggish service doesn't quite live up to the experience.

Federihütte is a cozy cabin located at 1,375 meters above sea level near Schänis in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. The cabin is an ideal starting point for hikes to the Federispitz (1,865 m), known for its beautiful views of the region. The trail to the Federihütte is considered challenging and takes about 5 hours to complete. The property is managed by the Federiclub Schänis, which warmly welcomes guests during the hiking season, generally from May to October. During your stay, please respect the natural environment, use limited resources such as water and electricity sparingly, and keep dogs on a leash and avoid access to sleeping areas.
