Great story about how things are going there at the tower with the club.. you just have to help out.. even if it's just by drinking coffee

Very friendly run by two older ladies... at least when I was there... sad that they couldn't grant my wish for a cookie...😉... You could refill your coffee for free

Without the road, the route would be perfect. It's fun to drive there.

This wonderful bike path between Klitmøller and Hanstholm lets you ride right along the coast on smooth, well-paved tracks. From several points, you get sweeping views of the beach and the powerful North Sea. The route rolls especially well with a tailwind, making it a fun and fast stretch. It’s part of the marked Kystsporet trail, which runs through dunes, meadows, and charming coastal towns.

A detour to Klittmoeller is always worthwhile. There you can get delicious Pomeranians and delicious ice cream. Of course you can surf or watch the surfers.

In the late 1940s, former fisherman Alfred Pedersen and his family moved to Thyborøn, where they owned a plot of land on Klitvej. His wife didn't want to move, so Alfred promised her a house that no one else had—one that people would come from far and wide to see. Poula and Alfred moved in in 1949, and Alfred began decorating the house. It would take him 25 years to finish. The "shell house" is decorated with a large collection of seashells, whelks, and cockles, in all sizes and colors. Local fishermen had caught them in their nets, or they were collected by Alfred and his children on the beach.

For 25 DKK (adults) you can visit the Sneglehuset Museum. It's quite small and consists of two rooms: a room where you can watch a film about the making of Sneglehuset (in Danish or German) and an exhibition room with lots of shell details, which is lovingly designed.
