크루쇼템‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

마헬렌푸트(Machelenput)는 약 8헥타르 규모의 아름다운 자연 및 레크리에이션 지역으로, 마헬렌 마을 중심부 바로 옆에 있습니다. 조용하고 잔잔한 레이 강(Leie)의 굴곡진 부분은 물과 자연을 즐기기에 멋진 장소일 뿐만 아니라, 플랑드르 미술사의 특별한 이야기를 담고 있습니다. 한때 이 고립된 레이 강 굴곡은 완전히 사라질 위기에 처했습니다. 다른 곳과 마찬가지로 강은 선박 운항을 위해 직선화되었고, 70년대 초에는 마헬렌푸트를 메우려는 계획이 있었습니다. 하지만 로저 라벨(Roger Raveel)이 이를 막았습니다. 세계적으로 유명한 예술가이자 마헬렌 출신인 그는 1971년 8월 19일 자신만의 방식으로 항의했습니다. 그는 파란색 비닐 쓰레기봉투로 덮고 큰 그림을 얹은 뗏목을 물 위에 띄웠습니다. 이 눈길을 끄는 행동은 전국적인 언론의 주목을 받았고, 결국 매립 계획이 중단되도록 만들었습니다. 라벨의 유쾌한 예술적 항의 덕분에 레이 강 굴곡은 보존되었고, 마헬렌푸트는 오늘날 녹색 오아시스가 되었습니다. 또한 어린이들을 위한 모험 섬(Avontureneiland)과 건너편으로 가는 무료 셀프 서비스 트랙터 보트 덕분에 레크리에이션을 위한 공간이 충분합니다. 자연, 예술, 그리고 약간의 독창성이 아름답게 조화를 이루는 곳입니다.

라템의 요람 & 화가 구스타프 드 스메트당신은 말 그대로 신트-마르텐스-라템의 기원에 서 있습니다. 연못이 있는 이 목가적인 광장은 450년 동안 거의 변하지 않고 남아 있었으며, 나중에 유명한 플랑드르 표현주의자들에게 완벽한 영감의 원천이 되었습니다. 이곳을 특별하게 만드는 것은 중세 마을 역사와 플랑드르 예술의 조합입니다. 작은 연못이 있는 삼각형 광장은 16세기부터 마을의 중심지였습니다. 이 장소는 1575년 지도에 이미 표시되어 있습니다. 주변 지역의 농부들은 가축을 마시고 젖을 짜기 위해 이곳에 모았습니다. 몇 세기 후, 이 장소는 완전히 다른 의미를 갖게 되었습니다. The two nature reserves, Grootmeers and Kleinmeers, are located along the Scheldt. Grootmeers is approximately 19 ha in size. Kleinmeers is close to the Asper lock and is a relatively small area. The area is freely accessible to walkers from sunrise to sunset. Boots are often necessary in wet periods. In winter, when the water level is high, the path through the Grootmeers (even with boots) is often difficult to walk. Dogs (even those not on a leash) are not allowed, partly because of the free-roaming grazers. Make sure you do not walk between the cows or get too close to the calves. (Natuurpunt)

Since 1654, the castle domain, located along the Kasteelstraat in Lozer, has been owned by the della Faille d’Huysse family. The beautiful castle was called ‘’t Goed Uplosere’ in the 17th century. The block-shaped castle acquired its current neoclassical appearance during renovations in the 18th century. From the Kasteelstraat you can see the symmetrical rear facade. From the Appelhoekstraat you have a view of the front facade. The 19th century park in English landscape style consists of ponds, winding paths, bridges and appurtenances such as a walled vegetable garden, caretaker’s house, dog kennel, coach house, tower-shaped garden pavilion, farmyard and gatehouse. From the castle domain, a double avenue leads to the O.-L.-Vrouw van Bijstandkerk.

These lakes were buried with silt during the widening and deepening of the Scheldt. In the northern part, 1 hectare was excavated to the original level. Because a number of 'miraculous cures' in the region in the 19th century were attributed to the intervention of Saint Arnold, who is said to have given the water of the local spring medicinal properties, this place became a place of pilgrimage. A (Sint-Arnoldus) chapel was built and artificial rocks (in typical Belgian 'cement rustic' style), ponds, fountains, walking paths and a sunbathing area were added.
