The Sint-Arnoldus Park was constructed at the end of the 19th century, after a few miraculous healings were said to have occurred. A chapel is being built and there will be artificial rocks, ponds, fountains, walking paths and a sunbathing lawn. The cement rocks, a typical Belgian phenomenon, are especially worth seeing. Today the park is still visited by pilgrims, but hikers and nature lovers will also get their money's worth. There is a playground for the children, who can also get to know the park through play with the family quest 'Out and about with Blob around the Tiegemberg and Anzegem'. More information about this at toerisme-leiestreek.be/blob. Lovers of regional products can also use a special picnic cupboard, where you can choose between different formulas.
