The main road over the 569 meter high Bözberg connects the Fricktal with Brugg. If you are on a mountain bike, you have the advantage of being able to go straight back into the forest before and after, thus avoiding traffic.

On the Bözberg! And no matter which side you arrive from, there are many interesting forest and field paths, trails, and sights in the area. While you're there, I recommend visiting the Linner Linde tree or the old town of Brugg. There's so much more to see there, but there wouldn't be enough space. Have fun!

At this intersection, under the treetops, you can relax from your journey and watch the passing cars. Personally, I stop there every time. It's truly special...

This small beautiful pass is best approached from the village of Hottwil. Excellent smooth asphalt surface with a climb from Hottwil to the base of 3% then increasing to 6-7% for the remainder of the climb. There is not a lot of traffic on this route so it is a real pleasure to ride this route in all seasons and weather.

This is the ultimate clothes check, there is a high, at first glance inconspicuous, valley basin in which the cold air accumulates really well. Hammer easy, just before and after it's as expected. It's just really cold in there. Feel free to test it and then comment 😉.
