Dam with waterfall and climbing rocks (great challenge if you follow the climbing route made of rings)

The path down from the Zirkelstein is in poor condition (October 20, 2024) and slippery, especially in wet weather; the stream has found its own way here. Nevertheless, the old quarry with steeply rising walls including the crossing is well worth seeing. In wet weather, the waterfall into the mill's old storage basin is very impressive and invites you to take a short rest. Pleasantly cool in summer, but also very drafty in autumn/winter (we even saw a mini waterspout whizzing across the pond today).

The buildings are picturesquely integrated into the rock, something that is a feast for the eyes. Stamp point EB.

Tickets for the boats and pedal boats are available from a machine; the staff present only helps with getting on and off. So have the right change ready.

Short detour from the Elbe cycle path. Nice for a few photos. But be careful! very steep and slippery ramp. What goes well uphill can quickly go wrong downhill. Definitely not for cycling shoes.

Nice place that seems a little enchanted. Definitely worth a visit.
